This sterling silver buckle features translucent (plique a jour) enamel in a floral motif. These sash buckles with plique are quite unusual. The enamel is red, green, and two shades of blue. It is signed with a “JK” above another “JK” in a box. There are marks for London, 1886, and a duty mark. Measuring 3-1/8” x 2-1/4", it weighs 32.7g or 1.16 oz. It is in very good condition. This 14 k Art Nouveau watch pin features a lady in profile. Her curving, golden tresses frame her face. The pin is 1 1/2" X 1" in size. It has a old style lever safety clasp and is marked 14k. Circa 1900.

This stickpin features a burnt orange or caramel-colored oval carnelian – yummy!. It is set in (stamped) 10kt gold and surrounded by an oval gold frame set with 4 seed pearls. The setting measures 13/16” x 1/2", and the whole thing is 2-3/8" long. Circa 1915. This graceful festoon or garland necklace features seed pearls set in 10kt yellow gold, with pearls included in the draping chains, and a pearl dangle. This beautiful and classic brooch, in the style of Lucien Gautrait, features a flower and ribbon motif, with a circle of white enamel in the center. The pearl on the dangle may be a replacement (many dangles have had to be replaced over the years). The brooch is marked with the French eagle for 18k gold and partial owl marks with “73”, indicating a piece that was imported into France post 1893 and assayed in the town of Rouen. This unusual enameled sterling pendant comes out of the Arts & Crafts movement, roughly 1880-1920 (it can be argued that it still continues!) The enamel colors are associated with the women’s suffrage movement in the UK: green (Give), white (Women the), and violet (Vote) – or at least, that’s the story! This fascinating ring consists of strands of rose gold tied in a knot, and studded with gold spheres. One sphere is missing, which makes it interestingly asymmetrical. The decorated area measures 5/8 x 1/2” and the shank measures 3/16”. The ring has a maker’s mark (“J.M”), the anchor for Birmingham, the date mark for 1903-4, “9”, and “375”, however it tests as 10k (That is not unusual). This is one of our very favorite rings. It would make a lovely engagement ring for a woman who wants something a bit different, and the green & red stones make it great for St. Patrick’s, Christmas, or really any time at all! The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat, but looks bigger), and is set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked but tested 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. This lovely little Art Nouveau watch pin is 14 k gold. The central flower is red enamel and leaves are enameled in green fading to yellowish green. It's pretty and colorful accent for any outfit. Two graceful curves of gold beneath the flower are set with eight seed pearls of graduated sizes. The pin is 3/4" by 1" in size and is dates from Circa 1900.

This very Victorian grooming chatelaine is from the 1800s. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements: a tweezers, one for cleaning nails, and an ear-cleaning device. (We saw a similar chatelaine on eBay, and the ear-cleaning implement was advertised as a device for opium users, but we don’t think so! However, as non-opium users, we could be wrong ….) The typically Art Nouveau curves of this elegant lavalier are set with seed pearls to accent their lavish beauty. The lavalier holds a large central ametyst—February’s birthstone!—and has an amethyst dropper. The delicate bale is set with more pearls. The lavalier is made of 9 ct gold and is 1 1/8" by 1 1/2" plus the bale. Circa 1900. The 14 k gold 16" chain is new.

This piece is stunning! Some marriages are made in Heaven, and this is one. This brooch is a marriage of three Victorian elements: the bar pin with six diamonds, the enamel bow, and the heart-shaped enamel slide. The bow and slide appear to have been part of the same piece. The pin is 12 k gold, and the bow and slide 18 k. The bar pin is 1 3/4" long.

This terrific Edwardian watch chain is complete with swivel clip and T bar (most aren’t), and with very nice detail. It weighs a satisfying 36.5g. It is unmarked, but tests as gold fill. 13-1/2” in length; the long bar links measure 1-1/8” each. The T bar is 1-7/8 long. We just love the details! It would be the perfect accessory for your Dickensian outfit, cosplay in general, or it could be altered to make a necklace or bracelet. This pretty pin is marked and tested as sterling silver. It features 5 rhinestones, and measures 1-3/4” x 1/2". It weighs 4.4g, and is in excellent condition. This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair, but of course it’s not visible when worn. ...

A sassy dragon curled around a large amethyst-colored brilliant (yes, it’s glass) hides the hook that turns this into a watch pin. He has a dark red cabochon eye (probably also glass) and a colorless brilliant in his mouth. The pin is unmarked and is 1” by ¾” in size. The metal is vermeil (gold over silver). A round hinge and eared clasp suggest an age of late 1800s or early 1900s, but the exact age is unknown.

We believe this lovely (unmarked but tested) 10kt gold jewel is from a time when cannetille work was the vogue because gold was scarce: very fine gold wires twisted into thin strands and then formed into rosettes and other shapes. The amethyst is a delicate shade of purple, and weighs approximately 2.5 carats – it’s very deep. (Amethysts are said to bring calm, and help banish headaches.)
